Everyone has a podcast these days, so why bother? Am I right? Wrong. Your audience already listens to podcasts, so by not leveraging the podcasting, there is no contest on where they will turn to meet their listening needs. They will go to your competitors and literally anyone else. It’s also an incredible ABM and relationship building tactic.

With a “content-based networking” approach, I created The ITAM Executive. Despite the lack of belief from internal leadership, the podcast quickly became the highest rated and most listened to podcast in the ITAM industry, also drawing attention and praise from Gartner and other high profile companies like Starbucks, IBM, and many others.

 

In-house, outsourced, big budget, or super scrappy, with my experience producing, hosting, guesting, managing, and marketing podcasts, I can take any podcast idea and turn it into a revenue driving asset. Of course it takes time and consistency, but when managed properly, podcasts can be an incredibly cheap and effective sales and marketing tactic.
